CoinSnapper Legal

Terms of Use

Effective date: August 30, 2026

Coin identification, grading, rarity, and value information is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not a professional appraisal, authentication, investment recommendation, or guarantee.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of CoinSnapper. By using the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use CoinSnapper.

2. Who may use CoinSnapper

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, you may use CoinSnapper only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

3. License

Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use CoinSnapper for lawful, non-commercial purposes. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Your images and collection data

You retain any rights you hold in the images and information you provide. You give CoinSnapper permission to process those materials only as needed to provide the features you request, including preparing and sending a chosen coin image to an identification service. You are responsible for your content, your device backups, and ensuring you have permission to use it.

6. Identification and valuation disclaimer

Results may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Coin condition, mint marks, varieties, authenticity, provenance, market demand, geography, and many other factors can materially change a coin's identity or value. Do not buy, sell, insure, clean, restore, or alter a coin based only on CoinSnapper. For important decisions, consult a qualified numismatist, grading service, dealer, appraiser, tax adviser, or other appropriate professional.

7. Third-party services and content

CoinSnapper may use or display results and content from third parties, including Google Lens for identification, Google AdMob for advertising, Firebase Remote Config for app settings, and Apple and RevenueCat for purchases. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security, availability, or conduct. Your use of those services may be subject to additional terms.

8. Purchases and subscriptions

CoinSnapper is free to download and includes a limited number of free identifications. That allowance, and which features sit behind Premium, may change at any time as the app develops. Nothing here promises a particular allowance in a future version.

Premium pricing and the applicable billing period are shown before you confirm a purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store. Unless a product is clearly described as a one-time purchase, a subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings and can use Restore Purchases in CoinSnapper when using the same Apple ID. RevenueCat is used to validate transactions and synchronize Premium access. Refunds and billing disputes are handled under Apple's App Store rules unless applicable law requires otherwise.

9. Advertising

The free version of CoinSnapper is supported by advertising supplied by Google AdMob, shown as banners, native placements, interstitials, and ads on app launch. Advertisers and their content are not endorsed by us, and any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them. What data an ad involves is described in the Privacy Policy.

Ad placements, their frequency, and whether they appear at all may be changed or switched off at any time. An active Premium subscription removes advertising. You must not interfere with, block, automate, or artificially generate interactions with the ads shown in the app.

10. Intellectual property

CoinSnapper, its software, design, text, graphics, and other app materials are owned by or licensed to the app developer and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, trademarks, photographs, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

11. App changes and termination

Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued. Access may be limited or terminated if you violate these terms, create risk or harm, or if continued operation is no longer practical. You may stop using CoinSnapper at any time by deleting the app.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoinSnapper is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any result will be accurate or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the CoinSnapper developer and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, opportunities, or business, arising from use of or inability to use the app. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

14. Indemnity

Where permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify the CoinSnapper developer against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the app, your content, or your violation of these terms or another person's rights.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the CoinSnapper developer, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer rights and any jurisdiction required by applicable law are not affected.

16. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when updated terms are posted. Your continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

17. Contact

For questions about these terms, write to gurukarupamenufechar237@gmail.com, or use the developer support contact shown on CoinSnapper's listing in the app store from which you downloaded the app.
