Mushroom : Scan Identifier uses a third-party AI-powered image recognition service (powered by Google) to identify the mushrooms and fungi in the photos you scan and to provide related information. The service processes the image data you upload to generate identification results. Please be aware of the following details regarding the data shared with this service:
The App may offer a limited number of free scans and an optional paid subscription that unlocks unlimited scans and additional features. Subscriptions are processed and managed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and payment is charged to your store account. We do not collect or store your payment card details; these are handled solely by the respective app store. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
To operate and improve the App, we may use trusted third-party services that can collect non-personal usage and diagnostic information, such as analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, and subscription management services. These services process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Mushroom identification results are generated using AI and may be inaccurate. Many wild mushrooms are highly poisonous and can be fatal if consumed. Never eat, touch, or use any mushroom based solely on the App's identification. Always consult a qualified mycologist or professional before handling or consuming any wild mushroom. We are not responsible for any harm resulting from reliance on the App's results.
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information, and data stored on our App.
The App, the Services, or related sites may contain links to third-party websites. We may provide such links as a service to our Users.
